Samsung will show new 10mm thin 40 inch LCD display at the FPD International in Yokohama, Japan. This event will start on 24th October. Samsung display is full HD LCD, so we don’t need OLED tv’s when we have so thin and wide LCD tv displays, right? We can expect new wave of large screens with same display as 20 inch display monitors for PC. This display can reproduce 92 percents color saturation of NTSC standard and it using only 90 watts of power.

LCD technology is much chipper then OLED for TV’s. The Oled Tv’s are thin but they don’t have large screens like this new Samsing’s HD LCD display. At the FDP 2007 Samsung will also show: 22 inch desktop LCD with DisplayPort interface, 46 inch digital information display (1500nits), 7 inch mobile display with touch screen, 14.1 inch active-matrix OLED and much much more.
