After lots of speculations, rumors and leaked pictures, Palm has now officially confirms new Palm 500v. New Palm 500v is not what we used to get from this manufacturer, it more like Blackberry style. It will be available in two colors “glacier white” and “charcoal black”. Also new Palm will not use the Palm OS, but Windows Mobile 6. There were rumors that it will have touch sensitive screen, but it’s just not true. It will support 3G/ UMTS but no HSDPA. Also it will have embedded 2 mega-pixel camera, bluetooth 2.0 module, 150MB of internal memory and microSD slot for expanding it. Full QWERTY keyboard looks good. This is the good way for Palm to get back lost market share, Shipping will start in October.
