The HP Compaq Tablet PC tc1100 is new generation Tablet PC from HP. For professionals who are always on the run, this Tablet PC with latest features is what they need. The tc1100 is compatible with Windows XP Professional, and it is designed with Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition. The device can be used with or without keyboard. The tc1100 has magnesium alloy case and high quality digital pen with tether.
The HP Compaq Tablet PC tc1100 is ruining on the 1.10 GHz Intel® Pentium® M Processor with 512 or 256 MB of SDRAM upgradeable to 2 GB. The device had 10.4-Inch TFT XGA color display. Graphic card is NVIDIA GeForce 4 Go 420. The tc1100 has integrated 16-bit Sound Blaster Pro-compatible stereo audio and two stereo speakers and microphone. Users can connect on the Internet with Internal MDC 56K modem or with Wireless LAN. The HP tablet TC1100 supports a range of secure, integrated wireless LAN options featuring support for the latest industry standards. Integrated Bluetooth is also an option and can be combined with any one of the supported wireless LAN options. It has Integrated Bluetooth™ on select models and IR (Infrared) on every model. HP Security Lock Slot is additional feature. This Tablet PC supports 32-bit CardBus and 16-bit PCMCIA Cards. It comes with DVD/CD-RW Combo Drive.

Each unit is shipped with a recovery CD kit containing Operating System Recovery and Driver/Application Recovery CDs. Lithium-Ion battery provides p to 4.5 hours of battery life. Battery Re-Charge Time is 3 hours when system is in OFF mode or standby and 3-5 hours when system is ON. The price is around $1,500 at Amazon Store.

no it does not have a integrated camera

I noticed many are trying to doa system restore on their Compaq TC1000 or their HP TC1100 Tablet pcs.
As far as I know, and I have been dealing intensively with tablets for the last 5 years, the TC1000 can only boot from its own usb drive or a docking station.
The TC1100 can boot from a compatible USB drive, if you can find one.
I have a lot of customers who had the drives but were missing their cds so I set up a download service for the ISO images of these cds.
The service will is available now allow anyone to burn the cds instantly.

I HAVE BEEN USING MY COMPAQ TC 1100 TABLET PC FOR ABOUT TWO YEARS NOW. IT GOT INFECTED BY VIRUSES AND SPYWARE AND AFTER CLEANING IT I CAN NO LONGER ACCESS THE INTERNET THROUGH CABLE AND THE WIRELESS FACILITY
