Sony’s video-playing Walkmans A810 was very successfully and they created new series A820, which is going to attach iPods market. The A820 is small like iPod Nano and other features like Touch. This can be dangeroust game for Sony, they could want to satisfied both sides, but at the end they could satisfied no one. The buyers will give they judgment, was this smart move from Sony.

This player is expensive, it’s price is £145 for 4GB NWZ-A826. It’s £46 more than iPod Nano with same equipment. The Sony A280 series has Bluetooth wireless DR-BT21G headphones included, and they price is £70. Bluetooth technology and large 2.4″ screen make this player expensive.

Screen is 0.4″ bigger then iPod Nano and 1.1″ smaller than iPod Touch screen. Just like in A810 series, you can load mucis on NWZ-A826 with Windows Media Player or drag and drop with PC or Mac. The NWZ-A826 looks impressive ans very stylish. Sound quality with headphones is very impressive, it will beat it’s rivals and it’s predecessor, the A810.

Video is colourful and crisp and movement is teflon-coated. For video viewing this model is better choice than iPod Nano, but still it can’t beat the iPod Touch. If you like to use Bluetooth headphones, this can be right player for you, but as we said it gives high sound quality, and good video performance, but its price is to high.

In their pre PMA08 announcements, Olympus has released informations about new digital cameras for the new season. Probably the most interesting model is new ultra zoom digital camera SP-570UZ. SP-570UZ is coming to replace current SP-560UZ.

Major improvements are made on the zoom lens, it become longer and wider not physical just optical, so now it starts at pretty wide 26mm and it goes up to 520mm – both values are in 35mm equivalents. Also used sensor resolution grows also, previous SP-560UZ had used a sensor with “only” 8Mpix and new 570UZ has new sensor with 10Mpix.

SP-570UZ with it’s 26-520mm lens has became world recorder cause its amazing zoom range, whole 20x. Everybody knows that if you want to shoot on the 20x zoom, every even the slightest camera shake will ruin the picture. Cause of that, Olympus has implement optical stabilization to this camera. Actualy if you read promo material for new camera you will read that it has “dual image stabilization”, don’t be fooled by the word dual. First stabilization is real mechanical and optical stabilization very useful thing. Second stabilization in this case, relates to the ISO value boost and resulting shorter exposition and less time to shake you camera and get blurry image. Of course higher ISO values degrades overall image quality, and if you really want to raise ISO you can do it manually – so just forget that DUAL mambo jumbo crap.

Also if we browse further throo Olympus promo materials, we can find that this camera can shoot up to 15fps, wow 15fps that is really grate but what at reduced resolution – ok that is not that bad, noooo at only 1.2 Megapixel mode???? So if you use 15fps mode you will get image like last years mobile phones made, another crap.If we just set aside some totally crappy statements from this camera promo materials, overall this is not a bad camera, it has real optical stabilization, big bright LCD and ultra ultra 20x zoom lens, and best thing of all, everything is packed up in stylish and compact body.

Olympus SP-570UZ is expected in stores in March, and announced price for it is about 550 euros.

Looking for a MP3 player that will not leave your wallet lonely and sad can seem like a rather impossible task. ScanDisk has worked pretty hard though and come out with a wonderful solution. The SanDisk Sansa Clip is a tiny little MP3 player that packs a huge punch and honestly comes at one of the most affordable prices there is for a MP3 player on the market. With a price tag of only $40, you are getting an entire 1GB size, plus a FM radio and voice recorder all wrapped together into a sleek little black MP3 player that is comparable in size to the iPod Shuffle.\

With an impressive 15 hours of playtime for the internal battery as well as 40 channel presets with the FM radio, you can see that this is certainly not a toy at all, despite the cute appearance that it offers. With room for approximately 250 songs this is the perfect MP3 player to start out with or if you are just looking for something that is small and yet still affordable. Compared to many other similar sized MP3 players this brings a lot of benefits and a really great price tag to the table.

Offering support for MP3, WMA, Audible audio files and even secure format WMA’s this is well on par with most other MP3 players as well. Simply put this is certainly a great option to explore and the simplicity of use is great as well. While many MP3 players are complicated to learn how to use the ScanDisk Sansa Clip is easy enough that within a few minutes you can be up and running. It is important to know that it uses Rhapsody to allow you to easily organize and manage your music, this is in stark contrast to the iTunes that iPods use, however Rhapsody is quite reliable and provides numerous features that are quite exceptional. Included is the USB 2.0 transfer cable and the installation CD so you are up and running in no time, overall this makes a great choice to look into.

For those who love to take a lot of music with them a small 1 GB or even 4 GB MP3 player is just not big enough. Creative has heard the cries and designed a nice sleek and stylish 32 GB model of their popular Zen MP3 player. Due out around Christmas time this sleek little package is set up and ready to go in terms of truly making people happy and keeping all of the excitement over MP3 players buzzing.

Including all of the standard features that the previous smaller models have included the Creative 32 GB Zen also includes a nifty little SD card slot so that you can add even more music to the player. In terms of space you are looking at plenty of room, the 32 GB model boasts enough room for 120 hours of video or as many as 8,000 songs. This is definitely a great little entertainment package in a tiny little wrapper.

Some of the other little gems packed into the Zen include things such as the 30 hour battery life for audio, the ability to sync your Outlook information so you always stay up to date and even a great little FM radio that allows you to pick out 32 presets and even a voice recorder for those urgent voice memos to yourself. With a tiny size of 3.26” x 2.16” x .44” and weighing only 2.1 ounces this is certainly the perfect present for anyone regardless of the occasion.

For those looking for something for themselves, this is a great treat as well, with a bright and bold 2.5” TFT display boasting a nice 320 x 240 pixels and 16.7 million color support your videos will look amazing no matter what you are trying to watch. With a price tag of $350 or so, it is certainly not the cheapest on the market, but the additional features that it brings to the table make it well worth the additional money. For those who are looking for a sleek and reliable MP3 player this is a mighty fierce competitor.

For the people who love music the market has been largely saturated by the iPod, but for those who do not like the iPod much the options have been very small. Yet the Microsoft 80GB Zune has come to offer a worthy alternative. For those who need plenty of space, the 80GB hard drive ensures that you can take all or at least a majority of your music collection with you anywhere you go. Some of the other additional things that are nice are the big bright 3.2” glass LCD that provides ample viewing room for your videos.

Some of the negative features is the Zune is still only capable of working with a PC in order to get your music to the MP3 player. While this is a small negative, in comparison to some of the wireless MP3 players coming out on the market it can be a bit of a drawback. The other major negative that has occurred is the previous generation of the 80GB Zune offered an EQ feature to adjust your music; this button has been removed from the unit and is not available anymore.

There are some good points though, after all with a PC and the appropriate software installed you can synchronize wirelessly with no cords and also the FM radio allows you to switch between listing to your own music or a radio station quite easily. With a weight of only 4.5 ounces this is certainly light enough to go everywhere. Also adding to the benefits is the small 2.4” x .5” x 4.3” size, this is the perfect MP3 player to go anywhere since it can fit comfortably into any pocket.

Also adding to the benefits is the ability to play AAC, WMA and MP3 files and even shuffle the tracks easily for a bit of randomness. Overall, this is certainly a great little MP3 player and it is likely that it will continue to improve greatly in future generations. For the price and the size you are getting it makes a great choice.

Ok now this is absolutely adorable and just so cute that you cannot help but love these little things. At a whopping 6.5mm and the screen is coming in at an adorable 2” diagonal. Ok so the classic iPod is a bit bigger at 2.5” but honestly, if you are looking for something teeny tiny that fits anywhere, and comes in almost as many colors as you have shoes, then this is the perfect iPod choice for you.

The sleek little new iPod Nanos are coming in with two sizes at 4 gigs and again at 8 gigs, with both under $200. While the 4 gig is only available in silver, you have your choice of several colors with the sexy little 8 gig Nano. If you are looking for tons of storage space the 8 gig is able to hold about 2,000 songs, or up to 7,000 pictures. That is a lot of entertainment in a very small area.

If you just adore the use of the tiny screen and really want to put it to use, the 8 gigs in the hard drive will get you about 8 hours of video time. Talk about a lot of storage packed into one tiny little package. This is definitely a true triumph for Apple. With this new, revamp allowing video even on the iPod Nano they are opening video on the iPod up to so many more people.

n typical iPod fashion though, don’t expect to be impressed with the battery power if you are planning to watch a lot of videos, your looking at a miserly 5 hours approximately, while only music alone can give you about 24 hours of play time. Compared to the iPod Classic, the battery power is coming up about the same as the standard 80 gig sized classic, and barely shy of specs for the 160 gig. This has got to be one of the smarter moves Apple has made recently packing the iPod Nano with video. A definite grab this year and yet another reason why the line of iPods continues to get stronger.

Everyone went nuts when the iPhone came out because it was so sleek, sexy, shiny and of course touch screen. Now Apple is working to build on that excitement with the next toy from their gadget box the iPod Touch. This amazing little iPod is based on the same touch screen technology as the iPhone however with the same hard drive sizes available it is going to be a very hard sell for some.

While many of the standard iPods are seeing upwards of 160 gigs for only $350 dollars or so an 8-gig iPod Touch is going to run you right at $300 as well. While the screen is amazing and sexy, and the touch screen is really cool, does this justify the loss of 152 gigs of space? After all, that is an incredibly large amount of music space that is lost just to add a touch screen. The bad news is that if the touch screen breaks, you are pretty much out of luck. Of course if it is under warranty then a warranty repair is possible, but that is going to be lengthy.

With the old click wheel iPods, you are getting a lot more music for the dollar, and with a click wheel, if your screen breaks; you can still scroll through songs. This has many hesitant over the newest iPod. There are some great adventures in the iPod Touch though, such as the beautiful 3.5” display that allows you to turn to widescreen to watch your movie or music videos. Toss in a great web browser (Safari) and you can surf the web right from your iPod Touch with the built in Wi-Fi that is available.

The bad news for Apple is this iPod really is not that much different than the iPhone and for the price the iPhone at least allows you to make phone calls aside from listening to music and surfing the web. Overall, I see this being a very hard sell because of the steep price. With other iPods in the same price range offering so much more storage space this is going to be a tough sell for many, despite the pretty touch screen.

We all know Apple has been enjoying a great high lately as sales of the iPhone have been through the roof but for those who simply want music, music and oh yeah more music nothing in this world can compare to the iPod Classic. This perfect MP3 player keeps getting better each year, and smaller as well. Packing a huge 160 gigs of songs which averages out to about 40,000 songs into a sleek little 5.7 ounce iPod this is definitely a music lover’s oasis.

You can take your choice of either the standard and classic black, or choose the sleek and sexy silver for your favorite color. While the classic iPod has gotten some upgrades on storage, the plain colors live on. However, if you are really looking for 160 gigs of storage space do you really care about the colors? After all, this is not a toy; this is a portable jukebox that can go on forever before your playlist ever really ends. The newest iPod Classics are constructed entirely from a metal design and provide a great visual stimulation. The classic click wheel is still in place so people looking for a touch screen will be forced to mosey over to the more expensive iPod Touch.

One cool new feature of the newest iPod Classic is the ability to flip through your music based on the album cover. While this may seem like a strange feature, it is great for those who can envision what the album cover looks like that contains the song they really want to hear. Over all, of course Apple has kept the iPod Classic simple and beautiful like always. This classic iPod will likely stay around for a very long time and with the great features and reliability that is provided why should you possibly consider an alternative MP3 player?

With your choice of black or silver, 80 gigs or 160 and a cute little 2.5” color display you are getting all of the music power you need to take your entire music collection with you everywhere you go, without ever being weighted down by too much baggage to be able to really enjoy your outings, trips and adventures. This little iPod will forever remain a beloved treasure to the music lovers of the world.
