The LX206WU has two USB ports, and it’s response is 2 ms. Contrast on this monitor is 5000:1. So far it is available only in South Korea and it’s price is around $385. We can expect this model on other markets soon.

A contrast ratio of 1000:1 certainly is not impressive, but it is well in line with all other comparable models and with a resolution of 1920 x1200 with a 5ms response time you have a great quality monitor. Your choice of input signals from D-sub, DVD-D and even HDMI ensures that you can get the perfect picture regardless of whether you are working hard, or playing hard. With a pixel pitch of .270 and a viewing angle of 160/160, this is definitely a great high quality monitor.

If you are looking for a monitor that is large enough to give you plenty of working room without consuming all of your desk space you are going to enjoy this monitor. The biggest problem with the monitor appears to be keeping them in stock. While they are a wildly successful monitor that is able to deliver on its promise to be thin, it has some problems staying in stock and most stores find themselves facing empty stock and long waiting lists rather quickly.

First model is Samsung 953B, 19 inch wide monitor. LCD technology is much chipper then OLED for TV’s. The Oled Tv’s are thin but they don’t have large screens like this new Samsing’s HD LCD display. At the FDP 2007 Samsung will also show: 22 inch desktop LCD with DisplayPort interface, 46 inch digital information display (1500nits), 7 inch mobile display with touch screen, 14.1 inch active-matrix OLED and much much more.

Samsung SyncMaster 971P has horizontal and vertical angles of 178˚. Contrast ratio is 1500:1 and response time is 6ms, so this monitor offering best quality picture. It features USB 2.0 for connection with devices like cameras, and camcorders.

The SID is one of the most important events for displays, so that is the reason why Samsung presents new LCD’s right there. Samsung will also show widescreen of 24″, 27″ and 30″ monitors for special markets, and 21.3″ monitors with clearer X-ray viewing for medical applications.

Thinner touch screen
The 3.5″ touch screen LCD features qVGA resolution. This new LCD is thinner because he don’t have separate printed circuit board (PCB) like other touch screens. All sensor circuitry are build-in panel. This new LCD can be used for smart phones, PDA phones, ultra-mobile PCs and other multimedia mobile products.

Simpler and smaller mobile products
The 7″ LCD has WVGA resolution of 800×480 pixels, and he using gate technology, witch offer the gate IC function to be built directly onto the glass panel. The time controller function is build-in into IC driver, that means engineers could designed smaller and simpler mobile products. Seven inches LDC is most used for broadcasting handsets, PMPs and car navigation systems.

Samsung will show large monitors at SID 2006. This monitors are wither and offering more functionality. They have 24″, 27″ and 30″ and aspect ratio of 16:10. Consumer monitors will be much closer to the professional IT monitors, after Samsung show this fresh monitors.

Medical Monitors
At SID Samsung will introduce 21.3″ black and white monitors specially made for medical applications. They feature contrast ratio of 2000:1 and enhanced brightness. This monitors can be used as alternative to X-ray films, because with ultra-high resolution they can easier to discern X-ray images than other monitors produced today. Samsung also have other surprises and highlights for SID, but we will talk about them later.
